Get more value from your notes and ideas.

It doesn’t matter how many notes you have in your vault if you don’t know how to leverage them.

Don’t make these common mistakes:

  • Bringing over cruft from your previous note-taking app & reproducing it in Obsidian

  • Trying to make Obsidian do everything (instead of leveraging its strengths)

  • Installing plugins without understanding how they really improve your PKM system

  • Capturing and collecting information that doesn’t really help you day-to-day

  • Reproducing errors throughout your entire system that are difficult to fix

Learn how to leverage the power of Obsidian to add practical value to your productivity and creativity workflows.

Let me show you the ropes.

My name is Mike Schmitz, and I’ve been all in with Obsidian for almost 3 whole years now. I have close to 50,000 files in my Obsidian vault, and I use the app for several hours every single day.

As a full-time creator, Obsidian serves as the backend of my creativity and productivity workflows. It’s where I do all my writing, it’s home to digital journals and personal retreats, and even my own cross-reference library of sermon notes that I’ve collected over the years.

But I get how intimidating Obsidian can be. It took me several months of experimenting to really discover how to make Obsidian useful in a practical way. But since that first “Eureka!” moment, I’ve discovered lots of different ways to have Obsidian support my creative work.
